Parent Support Services

Early Years
Ages 0-3

In these formative years, timely support can make a significant difference in your child’s development. Our services for this age group include: Developmental Milestone Education: Learn what to expect at each stage and how to recognize signs that additional support may be beneficial. Navigating Early Intervention Services: Guidance through the early intervention process, including evaluations, service plans, and working with providers such as physical therapists, speech therapists, and early childhood educators. Family-Centered Therapy Support: Strategies for incorporating therapeutic practices into daily routines, maximizing benefits while maintaining the flow of family life. Advocacy Training: Tips on advocating for the services your child needs and understanding your rights within the early intervention system.

Elementary School
Ages K-8

In the school years, children often encounter new academic and social challenges. Our services for this age group include: IEP and 504 Plan Advocacy: Guidance through the process of securing an IEP or 504 plan, including how to prepare for meetings, understand goals, and monitor progress. Behavioral and Emotional Support: Strategies for managing behavioral challenges and supporting emotional health as children transition to more structured environments. Collaboration with Educators and Specialists: Helping you communicate with teachers, counselors, and specialists to create a cohesive approach to your child’s development. Skill-Building for Independence: Resources for building executive functioning, social skills, and self-regulation to support academic success and positive peer relationships.

Preschool Support
Ages 3-5

As your child prepares for or begins preschool, our focus shifts to support that fosters growth within group settings and prepares for school readiness. Our services for this age group include: Transitioning from Early Intervention to Preschool Services: Assistance in understanding how services change after age 3 and preparing for Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings as needed. Social and Communication Support: Resources for fostering peer interactions, improving communication skills, and addressing common behavioral challenges at this stage. School Collaboration: Working with preschools to ensure they’re equipped to support your child’s needs, from accommodating sensory needs to understanding behavior plans. Parental Resources for Continued Development: Activities, routines, and resources to strengthen the skills your child is working on in therapy or other interventions.

Home-based support
All ages

Our home-based services are designed to integrate therapeutic practices seamlessly into your everyday routines. We offer personalized guidance to help you create a supportive home environment that encourages your child’s development outside of formal sessions. This includes in-home coaching on daily activities, sensory-friendly strategies, and tailored techniques to strengthen skills such as communication, motor development, and self-regulation. By empowering you to implement these practices at home, we help make growth and progress a natural part of your family’s day-to-day life.
